dengue doesn’t discriminate

Dengue Doesn’t Discriminate is a global HCP awareness campaign created to challenge the misconception that dengue only affects certain people. In reality, mosquitoes—the deadliest animals on Earth—are nearly invisible, found almost everywhere, and spreading faster due to climate change, extreme weather, and urbanization, making dengue the world’s fastest-growing mosquito-borne disease with over 400 million infections annually across 125 countries. To remind primary care providers, pediatricians, infectious disease specialists, and nurses that everyone is at risk—regardless of age, health, wealth, or nationality—we developed a striking visual system inspired by the hexagonal lenses of a mosquito’s compound eye, reflecting the faces in its line of sight. Produced during COVID-19 with a limited budget, the campaign used hundreds of curated stock portraits and a realistic CG dengue-carrying mosquito, launching with a film that uses misdirection to show that mosquitoes have everyone in their sights. Modular by design, the system allows portraits to be easily swapped and automatically adapted for rapid global rollout. Launched across Asia and Latin America, the campaign reinforces a critical truth: vaccines like Qdenga can help protect against dengue—but only if healthcare professionals are motivated to act.

The idea extended into an interactive billboard experience that literally put healthcare professionals in the line of sight. At the International Society for Infectious Diseases conference in Malaysia, HCPs were invited to take a selfie and instantly see their own faces reflected in the eyes of a mosquito—placing themselves at the center of the campaign and personalizing the risk of dengue. The activation proved highly effective, drawing strong engagement on the conference floor and helping drive meaningful awareness among HCPs about the growing threat of dengue and the need to protect patients.

The concept also extended seamlessly across a full suite of HCP materials, including discussion guides, detail aids, digital banners, conference visuals, and educational leave-behinds—ensuring the “Dengue Doesn’t Discriminate” message remained consistent, flexible, and highly visible across every point of engagement.

dengue is here

A global consumer awareness campaign built on a simple, unsettling truth: dengue doesn’t announce itself. It’s already nearby.

Rolling out across endemic regions in Asia, Latin America, and parts of Europe, Dengue Is Here used exaggerated location pins to dramatize just how close the threat can be. Homes, streets, cafés, airports, places that feel familiar and safe, were marked as potential hotspots, making the invisible risk suddenly impossible to ignore.

The idea scaled seamlessly across touchpoints, from web films and social posts to banners and outdoor signage, creating a cohesive, high-impact presence wherever audiences encountered it. Built with a smart blend of stock imagery and CG enhancements, the campaign delivered global consistency with local relevance to make the danger felt.

The ads directed audiences to either talk with their doctors about dengue protection or visit KnowDengue.com for practical tips on how to protect themselves and their families. Click below to launch the site.

It’s time to address the Mosquito in the room

Designed for HCPs counseling patients traveling to tropical destinations, this dengue awareness campaign makes the unmissable impossible to ignore. By placing an oversized mosquito squarely inside the travel clinic, the work turns a silent risk into a literal presence, demanding the physician’s attention. The mosquito hovers, lingers, and disrupts, serving as a memorable reminder to proactively discuss dengue risk and protection with patients before they travel.

The campaign rolled out a comprehensive suite of HCP materials, including posters, patient leaflets, digital leave-behinds, banners, and more.

Travel Fever

This campaign targeted both HCPs and travelers, urging travel-clinic physicians not to let patients’ travel fever turn into dengue fever. When excitement about upcoming trips overshadows health risks, dengue prevention can be overlooked—making timely guidance essential.

DESTINATION YOU

Destination You was a consumer campaign that reframed dengue risk by treating people as destinations themselves. Using traditional flight paths superimposed on macro shots of human skin, the work revealed how mosquitoes travel alongside us—often unnoticed. The striking visual system extended across web videos, posters, leave-behinds, banners, social posts, and more, making the threat of dengue feel immediate, personal, and very real.

We also developed branded video content encouraging businesses to adopt corporate dengue vaccination programs to protect employees and support retention.
